Almost all Ukrainians called the successful performance of Ukrainian Olympians in Beijing
- Only 6% are dissatisfied with the Ukrainian Olympic team’s achievement of 11th place.
- Most respondents do not associate Ukraine’s success at the Olympics with state support for sport, considering that support to be low.
Methodology
- Fieldwork dates: 25–29 August 2008.
- Sample size: 1,200.
- Age: 18+.
- Regions: Volyn, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Chernivtsi (West); Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy (Center); Kyiv city, Kyiv Oblast, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Chernihiv (North); AR Crimea, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv (South); Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv (East); Donetsk and Luhansk (Donbas).
- Margin of error: up to 3.7%.
