Attitude towards the idea of an alliance comprising Ukraine, Poland, and Great Britain (January 21-23, 2022)
• According to a survey conducted by the 'Rating' Sociological Group between January 21-23, 2022, 61% support the idea of creating a military-political alliance comprising Ukraine, Poland, and Great Britain. 21% have a negative attitude toward this initiative, and 12% are indifferent.
• In a regional context, the idea of creating such an alliance enjoys the greatest support among residents of the western and central regions, as well as Kyiv (support level ranging from 65% to 76%). Residents of the southern regions (51% support, 31% do not support) and eastern regions (40% support, 38% do not support) have a somewhat less favorable attitude toward this initiative.
• Among supporters of political parties, the explicit opponents of this initiative are sympathizers of the 'Opposition Platform – For Life' party (62% do not support), Shariy's party (67% do not support), and Murayev's party (68% do not support). Among the voters of other parties, the number of those who support the initiative significantly exceeds the number of its opponents. The idea of creating a military-political alliance comprising Ukraine, Poland, and Great Britain enjoys the greatest support among voters of the 'European Solidarity,' 'Svoboda,' and 'Strength and Honor' parties (support level over 80%).
Методологія
Audience: The population of Ukraine aged 18 years and older in all regions, excluding the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas. The sample is representative of age, gender, and settlement type.
Survey Method: CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews). Based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers.
Sample Size: 2,500 respondents.
Margin of Error: The margin of error of the study with a confidence probability of 0.95: does not exceed 2.0%.
Fieldwork Dates: January 21-23, 2022.
